4-Year-Old Boy Hears His Mother’s Voice for the 1st Time

It's a heartwarming moment as a youngster hears his mother's voice for the first time. Sawyer Moreau was diagnosed with Pendred syndrome, which is a rare disorder that leads to hearing loss. When he turned 4, he became a candidate for cochlear implant surgery. Thankfully, the four-hour surgery was a success. As the sound levels on his device were turned up, Moreau started hearing the world around him and tears filled the room.
