When the gas is captured and treated, it can be used as fuel. In fact, he’s using it to power his farm’s tractor. A company called Bennamenn has created a system to capture and process the gas, turning the cow patties into fuel. The cleaned methane gas produces about a half ton of usable fuel per day.
