When Mexican search and rescue teams flew to Turkey to assist after the massive earthquake on the Syrian border, they brought their famed canine unit. Sadly, they returned home without K9 Proteo, who died during a mission. Arkadas will be trained by Proteo’s former handler, Corporal Juan Carlos Villeda.
