YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Through computer imaging, we can see how an ancient human ancestor may have walked. Lucy is the name given to a skeleton found in Ethiopia in 1974. The discovery answered some questions while leaving many unanswered, like could Lucy walk upright. Dr. Ashleigh Wiseman is a University of Cambridge researcher who used scans of Lucy’s fossil and human muscle tissue, to reconstruct what Lucy’s muscle structure looked like. She believes this skeleton from 3.5 million years ago walked just like us.
