The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says two officers were dispatched after a concerned citizen called 911 saying a young boy ran across the street and into a nearby pond. Officers did not know the child was non-verbal until they reached him. According to authorities, the boy did not sustain any life-threatening injuries and was reunited with his family.
