1:16Now PlayingBrynnlee Steger was working at her local pool in Landis, North Carolina, when a storm hit. When she ran out to fix an umbrella toppled by the winds, a lightning strike hit her arm. "I felt the tingling sensation throughout my whole body," says Steger. When her mom got to the pool, she found Steger sprawled on the ground. The 15-year-old was rushed to the hospital where she stayed for 24 hours. Brynlee is now home recovering under the watchful eye of her mom.
