Now, it's being linked to three customers who died. Listeria and other bacteria thrive in low temperatures in equipment that was not properly sanitized. A statement from the family-owned company says they are stepping up cleaning practices in all locations. “We are heartbroken and deeply regret any harm our actions could have caused,” the company says.
