Now, she's fighting to put an end to underride wrecks by lobbying to have a side guard installed on tractor trailers. There are no federal requirements for side guards. Safety experts say the trucking industry does not want to pay the additional expense of installing them. Inside Edition reached out to the American Trucking Associations for comment but they did not respond.
