YouTube Description
as posted by the channelClimate activists are trying to repeat history with this latest stunt. Members of the group Just Stop Oil took safety hammers to the glass protecting Velasquez’s ‘The Rokeby Venus’ or ‘Toilet of Venus’ in the National Gallery of London. In 1914, suffragette Mary Richardson damaged the same painting by putting several deep gashes in the canvas with a meat cleaver. It was fully restored. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
