David Hardy’s company, Orstead Americas, is bringing that wind to the land with a wind farm. That’s how energy generated from a wind turbine is being harnessed and put into the local electric grid. Hardy tells CBS News that this offshore wind farm will have 12 turbines and generate 132 megawatts of power. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
