Dermatologist Dr. Rose Marie Ingelton says "Glycolic acid products are wonderful, but they [teens] should be supervised by a dermatologist and generally they don't need it yet.” She suggests young girls stick with a simple cleanser, toner and a moisturizer with sunscreen.
