As a retired engineer, this dilemma gave him a project to tackle. Lupton says the flood barrier he designed took six to eight months to finish. The project was completed in September of 2023. Drone footage taken by Lupton shows just how intense the flooding gets in his neighborhood. Inside Edition Digital has more.
