HIV and AIDS activist Hydeia Broadbent has died. She was born with the virus. Doctors at the time said she had a life expectancy of only five years. She was best known from her appearances with Magic Johnson and on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Through speaking engagements and her own foundation, Broadbent spent her life advocating for HIV and AIDS education and research. Broadbent fought stigma while spreading knowledge and love. Broadbent was 39 years old.
