A person experiencing a mental health crisis was helped down from the Brooklyn Bridge. Officers from the New York Police Department’s 5th Precinct in Manhattan spotted a 25-year-old woman walking across beams towards the bridge’s cables around 4 p.m. The woman was convinced to sit down and wait for help to bring her back to ground level. According to the NYPD, she was taken to a hospital for a psychological evaluation.
