That’s less land than was lost the year before. Global Forest Watch says new leadership in Brazil and Colombia helped preserve forest land in those countries. However, other countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo, Indonesia and Bolivia experienced high rates of forest loss. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
