1:11Now PlayingDeputy Ben Hayden of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call that no parent wants to make: an unresponsive newborn. When Hayden arrived on the scene, he took the 2-week-old baby from her mother and started administering infant first aid. Wearing gloves, he tapped the baby on the back and tried to open her airways. Hayden continued care for the baby until paramedics arrived and took over. Authorities say the baby is safely back home with her family.
