Protesters formed a human chain to push back Jewish students who had come to the pro-Palestine encampment on campus. A Rabbi affiliated with the university sent out an email stating, "Columbia University’s public safety and the NYPD cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety in the face of extreme antisemitism and anarchy.”
