as posted by the channel

Minnesota lawmakers have proposed banning book bans. According to the American Library Association, over 4,200 books were at risk of being, or were actually banned from school and public libraries in 2023. Proponents of the Minnesota bill say parents still have the right to make decisions about what their own children read, but do not have the right to take those rights away from other students. Washington, Maryland and Illinois have already passed bills that prohibit the banning of books.
