"Once the shark actually launched itself out of the water we decided it was time to vacate the area and vacate it very quickly," he says. It happened just a few miles from where three swimmers were attacked. Experts suggest the latest shark encounters may be connected to bait fish being closer to shore where swimmers and boaters also are.
