Kennedy was piloting the aircraft heading to Martha's Vineyard for a family wedding. He became disoriented mid-flight and lost control, plunging into the Atlantic Ocean. The crash also killed his wife and her sister Lauren. Maureen Callahan, author of "Ask Not: The Kennedys and the Women They Destroyed," says the flight was fraught with reckless behavior.
