She was on Amtrak 188 when the train, going 106 mph, derailed circling a curve designed for 50 mph. Eight people died, and hundreds were injured. After the accident, Geralyn's husband, Jonathan, learned of a Jane Doe at a Philadelphia hospital. Her injuries were so bad that he didn't recognize her.
