YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Officers in Colorado were involved in what they call a "hopping speed" chase. Colorado's Durango Police were likely never trained on the possibility of a kangaroo escape, but that's exactly what they were called in for on September 18. Cops weren't sure if they even had the correct tools to capture a kangaroo. This rogue kangaroo is actually a family pet. According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, residents there can legally own a red kangaroo without a license.
