YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

This watch was not completed until after its owner was executed. Queen Marie Antoinette, who was renowned for opulent fashion during her reign, commissioned the watch in 1783. Sapphires and rubies decorate the watch that the designer was told he had no budgetary restraints to create. Marie Antionette never got to wear the extravagant piece because she lost her head to the guillotine in 1793. The watch wasn't completed until 1827.
