YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA hundred years ago, a shadowy group called the Black Legion amassed power – and a sizable following – across the American Midwest. Historian Dana Frank told Inside Edition Digital the group was a "paramilitary, fascist, clandestine organization" connected to the KKK. "A lot of people have heard of the Klan, but not of the Black Legion, and the Black Legion was much more secretive," she said. The group was responsible for bombings, burnings, and at least 50 murders in the 1920s and 30s.
