That's when the toy suddenly burst open, burning the eight-year-old girl in the face. Her mom says it will be about a year before they know if the burns on Gia's face will leave lasting scars. Last week, the company added a warning on its website stating, "Do not heat, freeze, or microwave, may cause personal injury."
