A man has accepted responsibility for flying a drone during a wildfire that collided with and damaged a plane that was sent to help. Federal authorities say Peter Tripp Akemann, 56, agreed to plead guilty to one count of unsafe operation of an unmanned aircraft. The Los Angeles Fire Department said this SuperScooper plane was flying over the Palisades fire when it collided with a civilian drone over Malibu on January 9.
