Six years ago a boy was thrown off the third floor balcony of the Mall of America by a stranger. Landen's mother, Kari Hoffmann tells Inside Edition the first miracle happened when two nurses saw the fall and immediately began CPR. Landen was rushed to the hospital, where he remained for four months. The assailant, Emmanuel Aranda, suffered from schizophrenia. Hoffmann wrote about her family's journey in her new book, "Miracle at the Mall," which can be found here
