But that's just what some people in New York City are doing. It's illegal to ride on the roof of a subway car and the NYPD announced this week officers had arrested 200 people since 2023 for that offense. Police shared drone footage of four kids, aged 12 to 16, who were busted after surfing a No. 6 train in the Bronx.
