1:09Now PlayingDashcams caught a meteorite blazing though the sky. It crashed into a house in Georgia. It came straight through the ceiling and left a hole in the floor. Planetary geologist R. Scott Harris showed Inside Edition a piece of the meteorite after it disintegrated on impact. The homeowner was 14 feet away at a home office desk and had on noise cancelling headset and still heard a loud sound. The meteorite is 4.56 billion years old, older than earth itself.
