Robert Springsteen was wrongly convicted in the Yogurt Shop Murders. He was sentenced to death for the slaying of four teens in a yogurt shop in Austin, Texas, in 1991. His conviction was overturned in 2006. Police announced Monday that the real killer was Robert Eugene Brashers based on new DNA evidence. Brashers killed himself during a shootout with police in 1999. Springsteen was freed after he had served eight years in prison and is featured in the HBO docu-series "The Yogurt Shop Murders."
