The wide-brimmed headpiece comes to a point at the top of its 14-inch height, and features an elastic chin strap that Hamilton wore during flying scenes. The witch top was created by the Hollywood costume designer Gilbert Adrian, who was also responsible for Dorothy's ruby slippers.
