The parasailer was flying a power-assisted paraglider above Singer Island when a sudden gust of wind slammed into him, tangling the cords of the chute in the blades of the motor. Brian Wenglarz, 52, plummeted 500 feet into the ocean. Wenglarz survived the incident.
