Beloved actress Catherine O'Hara suffered from a rare medical condition in which her organs were on the wrong side of her body. It is called dextrocardia with situs inversus. O'Hara did not find out about her condition until she was in her 40s. The actress said she was getting a routine chest X-ray and EKG when she was informed for the first time that the organs in her chest and abdomen were positioned as a mirror image of normal anatomy. Her reps say her death came after a "brief illness."
