A jury found children's book author Kouri Richins guilty of aggravated murder in a unanimous decision. Jury deliberations took approximately three hours. Prosecutors said Richins spiked her husband Eric's cocktail with fentanyl with the motive of taking his insurance money and being with her boyfriend. Richins was also found guilty of an earlier murder attempt on her husband, insurance fraud and forgery. Richins faces up to life in prison when she is sentenced in May.
