Earlier this year, the 76-year-old founder of the cheerleading company Varsity Spirit was playing pickleball when he suffered a freak accident: he fell and hit his head. The fall resulted in what would be a life-ending injury. Webb was placed on life support for approximately two weeks before his family made the decision to remove him.
