Irvine Police say they found out about the scam when Target shoppers purchased Lego sets only to find important pieces were missing. Cops say after the suspect purchased Lego sets, he took them home, removed expensive pieces, put bags of pasta in the boxes and resealed them. They say the pasta was meant to mimic the sounds of missing Legos. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
