In 2021, a young Kentucky man suffered cardiac arrest caused by a drug overdose. Unresponsive and on a ventilator, his family kept vigil. Days later, he was wheeled down a hospital corridor lined with relatives and hospital staff to have his organs harvested. But his eyes were open and blinking. Donna Rhorer tells Inside Edition's Deborah Hastings she knew her little brother was "in there.” On the operating table, as surgeons prepared to cut, TJ Hoover began to weep.
