The old Coca-Cola bottle John Kauterman found as part of the Tidelands Initiative contained a decades-old message that was still legible. It was written by a little girl named Laurie in 1973 during a trip to Ocean City. After posting the message on Facebook, John was able to get in touch with Laurie's sister.
