1:17Now PlayingBodycam footage released by the New York State Police shows the race against time one trooper faced as he rescued an 80-year-old man from a burning home. On August 13, Trooper James P. Bertram got on his hands and knees and told the man inside to follow the sound of his voice. His advice worked and he was able to help the man get out. The man was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
