JA elderly, local landlord came to one of our local REIA meetings with a sheet of paper and 32 rentals on it for sale. After tons of negotiation I ended up buying 16 of them (With hopefully a few more down the road). This one accounts for 4 of 16 rentals in the package.

This building was built around 1860 by CH&D railroad for usage as their train station & mess hall. The neighborhood in this area was built almost exclusively for the usage of the railroad - Hotels, sleeping quarters, diners and housing for the multitude of railroad workers. Over the past 150 years this neighborhood has gentrified, declined and resulted in some poor living conditions. This property accounts up to the 32nd rental in the neighborhood which I'm trying to improve. It's a slow battle but I'm pretty excited about our renovation progress on the others.
