as posted by the channelHawaii's State Supreme Court made history today issuing a ruling on a case State v. Wilson, affirming the state government does have the right to bar firearm ownership and use, stating, “the Hawaiʻi Constitution does not afford a right to carry firearms in public places for self defense.”
The 53 page opinion document goes one step further, though, and this is the part that should SHOCK YOU -- saying, As the world turns, it makes no sense for contemporary society to pledge allegiance to the founding era’s culture, realities, laws, and understanding of the Constitution."
In other words, the Constitution has no place in modern society.
YIKES. Of course this is all happening ~ 6 months after the controversial and mysterious Lahaina fire that displaced more than 6,000 people from their homes, still awaiting government approval to rebuild and forced into long term rentals or hotels for their place of residence.
