MEYLI CHAPIN

In 2019, Meyli Chapin survived an attack on a hotel complex in Nairobi, Kenya, by Al-Shabaab terrorists that left 22 civilians dead. She credits former SAS operator Christian Craighead with saving her and hundreds of others. Her harrowing ordeal, struggles with PTSD, and how she fought to overcome that trauma are detailed in her book, Terrorist Attack Girl: How I Survived Terrorism and Reconstructed My Shattered Mind.

She has since created the Trauma Brace App @traumabraceapp, the first standalone self-help app for trauma survivors.

AYAAN HIRSI ALI

Ayaan was born in Somalia and grew up in Africa and the Middle East before seeking asylum in the Netherlands where she served as a member of the Dutch Parliament. She was working with Theo van Gogh on a film titled Submission when he was murdered by an Islamic extremist with terrorist ties who took issue with the film’s portrayal of Islam.

Today, she is a women’s rights activist, free speech advocate and New York Times bestselling author of Infidel, The Caged Virgin, Nomad, Heretic, The Challenge of Dawa, and Prey.

GAVY FRIEDSON

Gavy is a former Israeli infantry soldier and IDF Spokesperson who now works with an organization called United Hatzalah of Israel. Their mission is to provide immediate medical assistance using a GPS linked app through a network of volunteer medics riding specially equipped motorcycles capable of getting to emergency sites quicker than an ambulance.

Eli is a retired Special Operations Combat Medic and entrepreneur. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Elias “Eli” Kfoury and his family escaped the civil strife of his homeland and immigrated to the United States. He became a naturalized American citizen and served for 21 years in the Navy. Much of Eli’s military career was spent with the Naval Special Warfare Development Group where he deployed multiple times as a combat medic.
