Mark is an author, television producer, and former Navy SEAL.
Following September 11th 2001, Mark made continuous deployments in support of the Global War on Terror, participating in hundreds of special operations missions around the world, including the rescue of Captain Richard Phillips during the Maersk Alabama hijacking and as a team leader on Operation Neptune Spear, the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. The Maersk Alabama lifeboat and model of Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan can be found in the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mark is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of No Easy Day: The Autobiography of a Navy SEAL: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama Bin Laden and No Hero: The Evolution of a Navy SEAL.
He is also an executive producer for the hit show SEAL Team. It is available to stream on Paramount Plus.
