In 2019, Peter Bunting told Nationwide News that he commissioned/hired pollster Don Anderson to run poll on his leader Dr. Peter Phillips; one year before the general election. Bunting said according to the poll, his leader Dr. Phillips was not viable. Mark Golding said same. Based on the polls Bunting paid for, and its findings, Bunting and Golding challenged their leader Dr Peter Phillips.
A series of polls were commissioned by Golding, Bunting, done by Don Anderson, over the 3-month period of the internal presidential election, to undermine Dr. Phillips, and Andrew Holness. Don Anderson said according to his polls, Comrades wanted Bunting to lead the PNP and Bunting to face Holness in the pending general election.
We know how it all turned out!
Bunting lost the internal election against Dr Phillips 2019, and lost his seat in the general election 2020. Contrary to Don Anderson’s polls, which Bunting and Golding funded!
Same Don Anderson was hired again by the two (Golding and Bunting) since 2020 to run polls on Andrew Holness and the JLP. Don has been running polls against the government paid for by Golding and Bunting since 2020. His latest poll came out Sunday October 27, 2024. Don has been telling the public that according to polls the country is going in the wrong direction and Golding is gaining favor with the people over Holness. These polls are paid for by Golding and Bunting.
Will the poll tactic work for Golding, Bunting, and Don this time around?
Don’t miss this episode as we look at all the variables, including Don’s poll record!
