If you're greedy, you want the poor having more money as it allows for money to buy your products. Romey has a ton of money but he'd never buy as many groceries, or clothes, or car as 300 million people.
Whether that's a basic living wage, whether that's company's paying their employees a living wage, whether it's both - if you earnestly want to attack and end poverty, under the capitalistic model, there's only one way to do it.
