as posted by the channelOn HBO's Real Time, controlled opposition Bill Maher attacks people he's calling enablers of Donald Trump, totally oblivious that he's functioning as an enabler of the democratic party. This is the Rachel Maddow syndrome. Consistently excoriate one party as if it's the entire problem while giving the other corrupt, cheating, empty, loser of a party that he full throatily supports a pass. At the very least he in no way dedicates anywhere near the attention to the failures, foibles, and betrayals of the Democratic party. If you insist that one is full of goblins while giving the other a pass, implicit in the way you're cutting your show is one is the bad guy and the other is there to help you out. Nothing is further from the truth. Integrity counts! If you want to bring the country together; fairness, even handedness, adherence to values in excess of party is crucial. This just creates and persists the societal divide.
