0:48Now PlayingResponding to criticism about the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act and his promise that people who like their health care plans can keep them, President Obama announced in the White House briefing room Thursday that his administration will allow a 1-year extension on plans that had been previously cancelled.
"The bottom line is insurers can extend current plans that would otherwise be cancelled into 2014," Obama said. "Americans whose plans have been cancelled can choose to re-enroll in the same kind of plan."
