President Obama addressed the growing violence in Iraq, announcing the United States will send up to 300 military advisers to help Iraq's security forces stop the ISIS insurgents. Obama also said the U.S. is considering and identifying targets inside Iraq for possible air strikes.

"We will be prepared to take targeted and precise military action if and when we determine that the situation on the ground requires it," Obama said.
