0:30Now PlayingAttorney General Loretta Lynch announced today that The United States Department of Justice is opening an investigation into the patterns and practices of the Chicago Police Department following the release of a video last month showing the shooting of Laquan McDonald. "We will examine a number of issues related to the Chicago Police Department's use of force, including its use of deadly force, racial, ethnic and other disparities in its use of force and its accountability mechanisms," Lynch said.
