Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced that a special operations team killed ISIS' second-in-command in a raid this week. President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, who traveled to Brussels Friday, pledged to support the ongoing European investigation. The New York Times' Mark Mazzetti and The Daily Beast's Nancy Youssef report on the attacks and the aftermath. Meanwhile, Obama made a historic trip to Cuba after restoring diplomatic ties with island nation last year. In meetings with Cuban President Raul Castro, Obama pressed the leader on Cuba's human rights record. NPR's Tom Gjelten reports on efforts to normalize U.S.-Cuban relations. In the 2016 race for the White House, Republican leaders are coalescing around Sen. Ted Cruz in an effort to block Donald Trump's path to the GOP nomination.
